Gully, meaning “narrow alley” in Hindi, captures the vibrant spirit of India’s street food heritage. At Gully Burger, we honour these traditions with bold spices and local ingredients, crafting a menu that is both distinctive and deeply comforting.

Sachin Obaid
Sachin is the founder and creative force behind Gully Burger.
Sachin started his career in Finance and honed his skills in the financial hubs of New York and London with notable stints at UBS and Bank of America. He made his entrepreneurial transition by combining his passion for food and media and starting TookTook. TookTook is a creative media agency and production studio that works with F&B and Tech clients. Sachin has also created and produced Food Stories, a mini web series, which aired on VICE Munchies.
Beyond his own ventures, Sachin extends his expertise to the startup ecosystem. He serves as an advisor to early-stage companies operating at the intersection of food and technology, contributing to the growth and success of innovative ventures in this dynamic space. He is a also a Food and Drink Correspondent for The Monocle.

This concept was born from our founder, Sachin's experiences being from India and spending considerable amount of time in the US. So as a third culture kid, the idea of born of combining Americana diner culture to create a burger menu packed with flavours!
